Whether you need a sign language interpreter at an interview, need help setting up alternative interview assessments or need any support at interviews we’ve got you covered.

Most interview support can be funded by Access to Work or Princes Trust development fund – check miscellaneous funding for funding information, however DICE partners are well practiced in the process and will assist you along the way.

Scottish Employer Recruitment Incentive (SERI)

The Scottish Employer recruitment incentive provides £4000 of funding (and an additional £500 for employers paying national minimum wage

Funding is available from 1 April 2017 to 31 January 2018 to private or third sector organisations of any size. You’ll need to recruit someone who is 16-29 years old and fits one or more of the eligible groups. These groups can be found by downloading the Q&A annex A

Many providers offer free work trials or work placements to allow employers and jobseekers to test each other out.

Employability Fund – Participants of employability fund complete a 8 – 12 week in work placement in your organisation allowing you to ‘try before you by’ when considering a new member of staff.

Supported Employment – The team offer supported work trials where a member of the job coaching team will support the trainee for the duration of the work trial. The job coach can also complete a job analysis of the workplace learning the job to support the trainee when they start.

Thinking about taking on a member of staff but would like them to have a  relevant training or qualification, ESF funding could be the answer.

European Structural Funding (ESF) Under ESF funding unemployed residents of the local authority can receive 100% of training costs towards and an accredited qualification.

In the event the employee is already employed by the organisation 70% training costs will be funded.
